TRSS is a small friendly Society concentrating on the recreational riding sector in Scotland, which includes riding centres offering riding lessons and student training plus livery yards offering livery in stunning countryside.

This site features approved riding centres offering a wide range of trekking and riding holidays and whether you are a complete novice keen to sample your first trek on a quiet beach or an experienced rider looking for a trail ride adventure on horseback, you won´t be disappointed.

Welcome to Silver Sands Trekking Centre

Silver Sands Trekking Centre based at Glenrowan Farm on the outskirts of the picturesque Morar village, is now an approved member of the Society. This family run centre is in the process of developing their business but can offer beach rides, treks and hacks in the local countryside including a 2 hr ride to view the Morar waterfalls. Honey has been there and done it all. He is a British Riding Pony who has competed successfully at many shows and would be a good schoolmaster for a young rider.

Although 21 years of age, Sapphire is still fit and well and would be a good pony for someone who has a bit of experience. Her brother competed successfully at HOYS.
